Welcome educators and students to a new way to discover the wonders of architecture. This first of its kind, free online resource offers videos, lesson plans, and other resources on various topics related to architecture and environmental design.
For over three years, our videos have help educators break down the complexities of architecture to their students. It is in this spirit that we got the idea for the All Things Architecture Classroom. Of all the art forms, architecture is the one overlooked in the classroom. This despite the role architecture plays in creating the places we live in. To help expand the understanding of architecture to students, we've crafted lesson plans to help bridge the gap between the world of architecture and your students.
We offer students of high school to college a range of topics related to architecture history and theory. Your students can travel back to the days of the Italian Renaissance or the birth of modernism. They'll discover why cities are designed the way they are; and use that knowledge to think of their own.
Having come from a family of teachers, this is a passion project for me. It is a great reward to offer our team's knowledge and passion for architecture and design to students. I hope that through these lessons and resources here your students will have a new love for the buildings we inhabit. That their minds will expand with curiosity for the wonders of our built world.
Happy learning,
